Where in this assassin once again has serious doubts about his target
[Home Action!]
[Ken had gotten the mail, as per his usual routine. The letter from the town was unusual however. It couldn't be something from home, that only came after the town had a hissy fit. So, he opened it up after a moments of hesitation and couldn't believe it. How could the town have that much power?
Still....the guys....Miakis...they were all at stake, and after all this wasn't any different from what he did at home. Of course, that line of thought stopped as soon as he saw the name of his target.
Japan.
The country he had used his second chance at life to protect time after time, from mad scientist to corrupt politicians, to evil cabals of psychically powered people bent on world destruction. Could he really kill the personification of his country?]
[John Doe Park]
[He hadn't stopped to talk long with the people at home about the letter, in fact, he'd run out to the park as soon as he could. He needed to think, he needed to run around and not think, which ever worked to make him feel better. So there he was, running laps about the park, wonder what the hell to do next.]

Ah— [ He remembered that one's name- Ken Hidaka, right? Maybe -kun would be more appropriate than -san, now that they've already spoken and gotten to know each other. ] Ken-kun, is it?

Hi you. [She sets the knife aside and gestures for him to sit down next to her. It's tempting to ask if he's going to go through with killing his target -- but then it occurs to her that she's not sure she wants to know.] Caesar's setting up base at someone's house on Bunker Street. I'm gonna head there later, if you want to come with...

This isn't going to be easy...but we'll be ok.

It's never easy, with this place. [hesitant pause] What are you gonna do?

Not like it'd be hard.

They're probably lying. I don't really believe they intend to reward anyone, no matter what we do. And we might be punished either way.
[If we do what the town wants, bad things will happen, if we don't, bad things will happen. There's no way to win this game.]

Still...

[For once, he's not complaining about the hair ruffle. Ken is just getting a sigh that is supposed to sound 'exasperated' but really is more 'amused.']
