Hah, sure, you kinda deserve to hear it. Sorry about freakin' out at you. I didn't mean for it to go that far.

It was nothing too serious, fortunately. And the scars will be particularly attractive to women, as well!

In any case, it would seem my poison triggered it somehow, so I suppose it is my fault.

I don't really take being drugged to well, bad memories, that's really all it was.

Yeah. I used to play professional soccer and ...well 'someone' slipped me a sedative to make me loose the game. Then it just bloomed into this whole stupid scandal and all the evidence was stacked up saying that I had done it on purpose and...! [He is very frustrated and this memory makes him snarl. He knows who's fault this was]

It ruined my life.

Terrible enough, certainly, but...ruined? You seem quite happy with your life as it is.

Well, that sort of happiness came later. At the time it was disastrous.

But it means your whole life was not ruined, after all! A very good and important thing to remember.

The life I had planned out was ruined. I lost my career, my friends, my family in one fell swoop. This life I have now...it's a different life.

You only get the one life, my friend. Well, except here, but this is a strange place and we can set its strange rules aside for the moment. Your life going in a very different direction than you had planned does not mean it is not the same life, all the same.

And however different it may be, the life you lead seems to be one you are at least somewhat happy with, yes? Do not discount that. You are an assassin, so you should appreciate the same things I do - particularly taking full advantage of whatever pleasures may come, because they are few and far between and do not last.

Well, gotta admit you got me there. Yeah I'm happy now, it took me a long time to be ok and to be happy with what I have. I mean, I'm not exactly thrilled to be paid to kill people, but it's the result of my life.

That being said I have my friends, I have my new family. Hell, I even sorta kinda like the flower shop.
